Hey everyone!

My name is Callum McGaw and I am a 29 year old guitarist from Paisley, Scotland. I've been playing guitar since I was around 10/11 years old so nearly 19 years! Time flies, ha!

My guitar journey started when my friend and I decided we reaaallly wanted to learn guitar as we were into heavier music at the time. Bands like System of a Down, Deftones, Metallica, Slipknot etc. So we both decided to take lessons. Ever since then I fell in love with the guitar and have played ever since.

I continued my learning through high school and then eventually being a student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Classical Guitar studies, a completely different path from where i originally started! I still continue to play some classical guitar but not so much anymore.

 

When I finished my time at the Conservatoire, I decided to upload some music to YouTube of me playing some songs/themes that I liked. I never intended for it to be a job or to make money from it but I'm so glad that it did. It helps clear my mind and be creative with some of my favourite music.

 

With all the support from the followers I've gained over the years I've created content for YouTube, it's made it possible for me to have it as a job. I want to thank each and every last one of you who have supported me in my YouTube Jouney. Truly, it means a lot <3
